Hello, and welcome to Simply Strathclyde, the series in which I explore everything you need to know, the ins and outs, ups and downs, past and present about every station in Strathclyde.

Nice video! Just wondering how do you know where every train is arriving from/departing to??
Thank you very much! To answer your question, there's a site called RealTimeTrains that has detailed information about every service arriving, departing or passing through a station.
I will miss those old Glasgow Subway trains. But the new ones that were built by Stadler are very nice and are lot easier to walk through from one carriage to the other. Which makes it lot easier when there is lots of people using the subway. This is what the Bakerloo Line should have to replace the 1973 Stocks.

You could go to Larkhall at the end of the argyle line. It's quite interesting as the line used to go further up, along to Strathaven but got shut due to the Beeching cuts.

Definably a fond farewell to them Subway trains in Glasgow, they will be missed. It'll be the same with the 1973 stock on the Piccadilly line in London once's the news tube trains are in serves.
